MICROCHIPPING
At Toukley Veterinary Clinic, we understand the sadness of losing a beloved pet. That’s why we ensure all pets are microchipped. We also recommend attaching an ID tag to your pet’s collar to speed up the lost and found process.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Microchipping at our Central Coast clinic is a safe procedure where we insert a chip, about the size of a grain of rice, into the back of your pet’s neck. A special scanner allows our vets to identify lost pets and quickly reunite them with their owners.
MAKING SURE MICROCHIP DETAILS ARE UP-TO-DATE
Microchip details are useless if your phone number is disconnected or you’ve moved. Always update your contact information on the microchip register.

If your pet gets lost, they can't phone home. But with an up-to-date microchip, someone else might be able to contact you and bring your pet home.
